Highways Supervisor

**Salary**: up to £47,000 + Commercial Van + Fuel Card

Hours: 40 hours a week, potential for some overtime.

Location: Surrey

We are looking for an experienced Supervisor to join our multiyear highway surfacing contract in Surrey.
- Good all-round highway maintenance knowledge
- Experienced in basic setting out and measuring, calculating, and estimating material quantities
- Knowledge of and experience in use of highway construction materials
- Knowledge of CDM, Safety legislation, environmental impact, and environmental legislation
- Good IT Skills (Essential)
- CSCS Gold card
- NVQ3
- Clean - Full UK Driver’s License

You would be responsible for;
- The day-to-day supervision of both self-delivery and sub-contract gangs - managing performance
- Working with the area programmer to ensure that all works are delivered within the required timescales and cost
- Reviewing drawings, undertake walk / talks to advise on practical aspects of the planned design
- Maintaining detailed records of each site / project and provide feedback on progress
- Providing HSE toolbox talks to site operatives
- Completing regular site safety audits to ensure compliance
- Identifying the requirements for materials, plant and equipment and complete order requisitions
