This is a crucial role within the Teledyne-e2v RF Power Division, the role is to be part of a Product Quality Assurance team to ensure that RF Power products, process and systems work correctly first time and every time, to the desired level of quality. This role will be responsible for supporting the RF power functions and product teams providing independent assurance and governance. Key tasks will include tracking, monitoring and reporting of non-conforming products and processes and driving all Corrective Actions, Deviations and Quality Notifications through to completion specific to the product stream they are supporting.

Product Quality Assurance role is to ensure that customer expectations are met or exceeded through effective monitoring and control, and in the event of escapes, to ensure that appropriate root cause investigation takes place and that corrective and preventive action is planned, tested and implemented.

The role with input from the rest of the PQA team, will support the maintenance and integrity of the Business Management System such that we are compliant to ISO9001:2015 standards, carrying out formal internal audits as well as more adhoc reviews of business processes and performance of them. They will also seek to review/ improve existing Quality assurance processes, organising and delivering training and communications to stakeholders in RF Power.

The role holder will demonstrate effective communication skills will be critical to the success of this role, with the ability to influence peers and raise the bar in quality methods, along with a pragmatic and data driven approach to assist in prioritising improvements across the existing product portfolio.

The Production Quality Assurance function, through a proactive approach to right first-time quality to promote growth, will enhance the reputation of the business through exceptional quality standards and contribute towards a significant reduction in overall manufacturing costs.

**Position Summary and Responsibilities**:**Main A**cco**untabilities**
- Working in a well-disciplined, structured, and professional manner at all times, this includes behavioural, and adherence to company procedures and systems.
- You will fulfil this PQA role for your assigned product vertical.
- For your assigned product vertical, take ownership, develop action owner reviews, ensuring full root cause analysis and corrective actions (CA’s) are completed on time, including monitoring of completed actions to ensure that the CA’s implemented are sustained.
- Understand and meet all relevant KPI’s that allow provides us to have a holistic view of product and process quality.
- The PQA will support for manufacturing issues alongside the Product Quality Engineer or Product Engineer to further establish root cause and resolution.
- Organise and manage QRBs (Quality Review Boards) for their assigned verticals as required, ensuring engagement of key stakeholders.
- Raise, track and drive closure of QNs, Deviations and corrective actions. Providing regular reporting. Support action owners to aid prompt completion and closure.
- Carry out product assessments relating to adequacy and effectiveness of data pack, manufacturing process and equipment as well as adherence of personnel to follow controlled and documented processes and work instructions.
- Support the delivery of an effective communications strategy for improvement and awareness of quality issues across all departments.
- Monitor, drive progression and report status of Product Returns and QNs within their assigned vertical
- Review/ improve existing Quality assurance processes, organising and delivering training and communications to stakeholders in RF Power.
- Support customer QA audits for the assigned product vertical.
- Organise regular reviews with functional leads to identify and execute short, medium
- and long-term improvement plans.
- Aiding the Head of QA in the preparation of the business in readiness for ISO9001:2015 external audits
- Carry out formal BMS internal audits as well as more adhoc reviews of bus
