**Job Title**: Senior Care Assistant

**Location**:Northlands Care Home, Kings Avenue, Morpeth

We are looking for an experienced senior care assistant to join our care team at Northlands where we provide care and support for up to 39 residents.

**ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

Working in partnership with the Home Manager and Nurses, our Senior's play an important role in the smooth running of the home. They provide top quality care to our residents and great leadership to the care team. We are looking for hard working, dedicated people who will go the extra mile to ensure our home runs to a high standard.

Our Seniors help improve the lives of our residents by ensuring their needs are met, care plans are up to date and medication is administered, stored and recorded correctly. As well as ensuring our residents are happy and looked after, our Seniors also take care of our Care Assistants, making sure they are delivering the best standard of care possible

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Diploma Level 3 achieved or working towards
- Strong team leader
- Team player with good communication skills
- Satisfactory DBS Check and references

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.25 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 48 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Morpeth: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- providing care: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Diploma Level 3 in Health & Social Care (preferred)

Work authorisation:

- United Kingdom (required)
