**Finance Business Partner **(M/F/d) ** **:**Are you looking for an exciting new challenge?**

HSB are currently recruiting for a Finance Business Partner to join the team in Manchester.

You will support the business by providing insightful financial analysis to support business decisions and business planning. This role will work in collaboration with business leaders and colleagues across the HSB Group in the UK & Ireland to support the delivery of the Group’s profitable growth ambitions.

**WE OFFER **:Key Responsibilities:

- Support the business by providing insightful financial analysis and commentary, working closely with colleagues in the finance team and with business leaders in the Manchester and regional sites across the UK and Ireland.
- Support the delivery of the annual financial planning process and regular financial re-forecasting.
- Contribute to the delivery of internal monthly financial commentaries and financial reporting to the Board and US Parent Company.
- Contribute to the delivery of the financial operational management reporting pack (the “Greenbook”).
- Partner with the business to find opportunities to increase the information available and to obtain and present this according to stakeholder requirements.
- Work in close collaboration with colleagues at the Company’s US parent entity, HSB Group, to support the delivery of routine and ad-hoc financial information.
- Support the work to review existing processes and controls over financial planning and reporting and implement changes with the goal of improving procedures and enhancing automation to improve efficiency whilst ensuring effectiveness of controls.
- Respond to ad-hoc queries and information requests as required.

**WE EXPECT **:Key Skills and Experience Essential
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Expertise in financial accounting, financial planning and financial reporting.
- Good knowledge of UK, US and IFRS accounting standards.
- Proficient using Microsoft packages i.e. Excel.

Desirable
- Relevant financial services experience.
- Experience working in a similar role.

Additional Skills and Responsibilities
- Work using own initiative to identify opportunities and handle workload.
- Ability to work to time scales and deadlines.
- Be confident in communicating and explaining information to non-finance colleagues
- Travel between the London, Regional and Manchester sites may be required infrequently

Qualifications and Educational Requirements:

- Qualified / Finalist / Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)

Desirable:

- Qualified / Finalist / Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
