The company is entering an exciting phase of its strategic journey, and this role will be instrumental in shaping a more agile, commercially focused finance function-one that drives strategic analysis, delivers actionable insights, and optimises financial performance.
The role will oversee forecasting, revenue reporting, financial planning, and analysis, with a strong focus on driving the P&L and supporting sales performance. The Commercial Finance Business Partner will work closely with the technology, trading, and marketing teams, providing senior stakeholders with clear insights, robust challenge, and strategic guidance.

- Identifying KPIs and metrics that aid and improve assessment of business performance.
- Conducting financial modelling and analysis to assess the impact of alternative project scenarios.
- Reviewing development and investment pipelines to ensure all data is robust and reflects the latest positions.
- Acting as a liaison between finance and other functional areas, ensuring effective sharing of ideas and communication of key business workstreams.
- Identifying gaps and duplications in processes and adding value through standardisation and the implementation and adoption of technology to create organisational resilience.
- Reporting weekly and monthly on market performance.
- Recruiting, developing, and leading high-performing teams that embody the company's growth mindset, emphasising delivery and value creation.
- Encouraging agile thinking and a culture of ongoing innovation, staying ahead of changes, adapting to new situations, and learning from various sources while challenging existing methods.
Candidate:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
- Experience within FMCG, digital, consumer, technology, or online-driven sectors (or other highly relevant industries).
- Exceptional stakeholder-management and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organisation.
- Proven ability to operate at pace and deliver high-quality outcomes in fast-moving environments.
- Skilled at clearly communicating the impact of proposed changes and guiding others on how to implement them effectively.
- Strong storytelling capabilities, able to translate data and insights into compelling narratives.
