**About the role**:
This is a new role based in our brand new hospital based in Birmingham. This Facility Head of IT will oversee and manage effective operation of the information technology in the facility and ensures strategic and operational alignment with facility business objectives and facility, division, and HCA enterprise ITG goals and objectives.

**The job will entail -**
- Inform ‘Facility ITG’ capital and operating budgets aligned with divisional budget directives
- Establishes, communicates, monitors and manages compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Coordinates the assignment of resources to ITG projects, operations and incidents
- Aligns & monitors the assignment of resources and related financial allocations to Facility programs
- Influences and informs plans for the Facility technical environment in conjunction with the technical service owners.
- Identifies and coordinates the resolution of IT issues at the Facility
- Escalation point for the on-site management of Facility hardware & software and for information security aspects for the Facility. In addition, the ITG escalation point for resolving incidents and service requests and is responsible for managing continuous improvement activity to resolve underlying problems.
- Promotes and coordinates the management of policy compliance issues & projects

**About You**:

- Prior experience of working in a senior IT Management role
- Strong leadership skills, personal drive, and ability to see projects through to execution in a matrixed environment
- Understands the implications of technology solutions to Facility workflow & operations & communicates to key stakeholders
- Experience of managing business change including formal project
- Stakeholder management up to board level
- Experience of producing and negotiating business cases
- Financial and budgetary experience
- Experience of working in a complex healthcare environment (desirable)
