**Our client**
Our client is a successful and expanding capital equipment business looking to appoint an experienced Design Manager.
**The opportunity**
Reporting to the Technical Director, as Design Manager you will provide leadership, management and coaching to your team as they design, engineer and manufacture bespoke and modified products to meet customer requirements.You will work closely throughoutthe business to develop and deliver high quality solutions to their complex and global customer base.In this expanding business, you will continue to develop effective systems and processes to meet the consistent and increasing demand.
**About you**
As an experienced Engineering / Design Manager,you will have previous experience in managing a design/projects in the design of complex mechanical equipment and solutions to meet the needs of a demanding customer base.As a Design Engineer by trade, youwill demonstrate well developed communication skills to give confidence to customers, collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain and quality whilst coaching and developing your team to reach their full potential.
This is an exciting opportunity to join and expanding engineering business and play a key part in the ongoing development of best practice to support significant and ongoing expansion.
