**Are you an experienced Materials Handler, who is looking to work in a fast paced, global, market leading company?**
Here at Innovative Technology, we have an excellent opportunity for a Materials Handler join our talented team in our global head office in Oldham, Manchester.
**Our Opportunity**
In the role of Materials Handler, you will be working with the production supervisor to develop processes for stock management on the shopfloor to ensure that the production schedule is completed in a timely manner whilst assisting and supporting the dispatch team leader.
**About the Materials Handler role**:
The point of contact for production to ensure the stock management between the shopfloor and the warehouse is streamlined
Booking stock back into the warehouse that is no longer required in production to maintain a tidy shopfloor
Working with the quality team to ensure rework/redundant and non-conforming stock is managed in Syspro and W1
Supporting the dispatch team leader to ensure the production schedule is completed in a timely manner
Support the warehouse team leader during busy periods to ensure that stock is maintained and accurate
Report stock shortages to the manager/supervisor
Work with the quality department to ensure procedures for stock control are introduced and maintained
Introduce, document and maintain procedures for the dispatch area
In line with the production balance score card, work to maintain the KPI’s for the following areas:

- On Time Delivery
- Quality and non-conformances of Materials
- Customer satisfaction
- Sales delivery performance

**Your Skills & Experience we're looking for in our Materials Handler**:
**Essential**:
Knowledge of Warehouse Management System, with Lean and software tools
FLT Licence
Confidence in liaising with suppliers, couriers and internal customers
Knowledge of production schedule
2 years minimum experience of first line team leadership/management
Knowledge of MRP systems
Confident in use of Microsoft tools, excel, word and PowerPoint

**Desirable**:
Good knowledge of products
