**About the Role**:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Finance Area Administrator who has a passion for data collation, data inputting and data monitoring. You will need to have good interpersonal skills and a desire to support and inspire others.

This is an exciting role for a well establish Finance Administrator to develop and progress their career. This role is an important support function within the finance team. The Finance Area Administrator will play a key part in delivering assistance to employees across multiple homes supporting the day-to-day management of bookkeeping within the services.

As a Finance Area Administrator your responsibilities include maintaining the homes records for all transactions, data reconciliation, assisting with payment recording, liaising with our homes and services offering support in finance, support the financial team in preparing monthly and quarterly financial report and all other general administrative support. You will also have a pivotal role in implementing and transitioning a cashless system within our homes.

**What we need from you**:

- The ability to support, coach and engage employees in providing accurate financial data
- To assist the Financial Controller with audits of the homes
- Provide training and advice to managers as required
- Assisting homes records being kept up to date and accurate
- Supporting the homes with general finance queries
- To contribute to finance team meetings and support the work of other team members as necessary.
- Provide training and induction to new and existing administrators
- To be a team player willing to get involved in other aspects of finance to ensure the department runs smoothly.
- **Desirable**:

- Experience of working in similar financial administration role
- Advanced excel skills
- Excellent verbal, written communication, IT, and presentation skills
- Good interpersonal and coaching skills
- Accounting knowledge in debit and credit
