**We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our team on a permanent contract.**
The Finance Business Partner supports the Financial Controller and business leaders and managers, assuming a hands-on role with responsibility for the day-to-day financial operations of the company
You will provide strategic financial advice to members of the senior leadership team on all financial matters relating to its activities and associated financial operating models for the key services, along with taking financial accountability for managing the end to end processes.
A key requirement is to work very closely with the internal stakeholders and external clients (EKHUFT currently being the major client) to ensure that they can gain assurance around the financial information provided to them.
As financial management is crucial for our company’s performance, you will play a big role in the company’s growth and success. The post holder will be required to work effectively at all levels of the business, including deputising for the Financial Controller where appropriate
**Main duties of the job**
Financial Management
- Lead on preparing monthly management accounts for departments, review performance with divisional budget holders and working with the departments for ensuring understanding of the figures and quality of the information. Prepare commentaries.
- Undertake cost-benefit analysis for financial opportunities. Analyse financial information to assist business profitability and efficiency, contributing to company financial strategy and decision-making process.
- Manage the departmental budgeting and forecasting process and contribute to the company annual budgeting and planning process. Providing budget analysis and commentary. Develop accurate forecasting models.
- To provide business and financial support for the Director of Finance, Financial Controller and the senior management team. This includes day-to-day financial control and reporting and support for longer term strategic planning.
Finance Control
- Review accounting processes and practices and improve where necessary to ensure efficient financial operations.
- Account for the company’s provisions in accordance with accounting regulations and produce a monthly summary.
- Liaise with parent company finance department for intragroup transactions and consolidation of trial balance (balance sheet).
- Develop systems to improve services for new areas of work.
Financial Reporting and Supplementary Information
- Coordinate the provision of information to external accountants and auditors.
- Review, update and compose financial procedure notes in relation to role.
- Complete Office for National Statistics returns where relevant.
- Ensure that all returns for ad hoc specifics are made as and when required.

The role is responsible for the accounting operations of the company, to include the production of financial and management reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records and a comprehensive set of control accounts designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards
The Person:
- Qualified accountant, CIMA / ACCA /ACA
- Financial Accountant, Commercial Accountant or Finance Business Partner or similar Level
- Experience of detailed bookkeeping and accounting entries
- Excellent analytical and numerical abilities
- Sound business knowledge
- Accuracy
- A meticulous and methodical approach
- Awareness of Company development and associated financial changes
**Salary**: £55,400.00 per year
