Business Development Executive

My client is a well-established organisation who has grown to be the world’s largest independently owned express courier network with over 1000 offices in 209 countries and territories.
**JOB DESCRIPTION & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- To actively pursue new business accounts within a defined sales territory and follow up all sales enquiries by telephone or by appointment
- To meet agreed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Obtain new business appointments through own canvassing and telesales leads
- Report all sales activities and provide relevant information via CRM
- Attend frequent training sessions to develop knowledge and skills
**KEY SKILLS REQUIRED**
- 2 years + experience within in a sales based role
- Good people and management skills
- Good understand of excel, word and PowerPoint
- Ability to perform sales presentations effectively
- To be persistent in pursuit of own targets
- A complete and up to date 5-year work history for security checks
**HOUR OF WORK**
- Monday to Friday - 09:00 to 17:30
- Basic Salary between £30,000 & £40,000 per annum
- OTE Potential £40-£75k
- Car allowance - £4,500 per year ( £375 per month )
