Our client is a housing provider with properties across the UK. Currently they are seeking a Contracts Supervisor to carry out works on their sheltered housing schemes.

This is a temporary, 37 hours a week for an initial period of 3 months offering a competitive hourly rate. The role is hybrid, with a mix of working from site, office, and home. The role may be extended with opportunity to join the team on a Fixed Term Contract.

Duties will include:

- To ensure that legislative and industry best practice is followed to make sure that all fuel types are compliant and inputting information onto the housing management system
- To support the Asset Management Team to comply with all compliance requirements eg. Prevention of Legionella, Fire Risk Assessments, Electrical inspections etc
- Ensuring the building and maintaining of effective relationships between the team, contractors, customers and stakeholders to ensure the efficient delivery of compliance repairs or remedial work
- Responsible for making contact with residents where works are to be carried out and ensuring any special needs are identified and as far as possible catered for
- To ensure high standards of health and safety practice are maintained in accordance with council policy, including the health and safety and welfare at work of themselves and colleagues
- A qualification in a construction or maintenance related discipline equivalent to or higher than a Higher National Certificate or relevant demonstrable experience
- Be gas safe qualified
- Have a full driving license, and access to own vehicle
