Marketing Executive

My client is a small, successful, and rapidly expanding company within the construction and distribution sectors. Due to ongoing growth, they now wish to recruit a hands-on Sales and Marketing Executive to take responsibility for managing the day-to-day marketing and social media functions of the business.

**SUMMARY OF KEY DUTIES**
- Help to manage the company’s social media presence to include regularly updating new product launches, completed projects and company website etc
- To develop and maintain a marketing strategy for the Company in order to meet its goals and objectives.
- To oversee the marketing, advertising and promotion of all company’s products/services to the general public and potential business clients.
- Responsible for the marketing of company products and services to its consumer and business clients and advising Directors of potential business opportunities.
- Ability to translate the marketing strategy into operational plans within set timeframes.
- To be involved in public relations and the promotion of the Company in a proactive and positive manner.
- Contact potential customers and follow up on any queries, quotation requests etc.

**THE PERSON**
- A minimum of 1-2 years post degree marketing experience in a commercial/business setting essential
- Ideally marketing experience within construction, engineering or transport/distribution would be a bonus
- Experience/knowledge of using social media for company marketing purposes
- Possesses the energy, enthusiasm and ability to work within an environment that requires a hands-on approach.
- Able to work on their own initiative without the need for supervision
- Confident in their ability to advise the Directors on marketing ideas and strategies
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Enjoys contacting customers and following up potential leads to close sales
- Highly I.T. literate

**SALARY**

In addition, there will be the opportunity to earn regular performance bonuses based on performance and achieving targets.
