We are seeking a **Kitchen Porter** to work within our Kitchen team to ensure that the kitchen and equipment are kept clean to our standards and to assist the kitchen and food service staff.

Kitchen Porters receive share of tips each month.

Old Thorns is a four-star resort in Liphook, Hampshire, GU30 7PE. The hotel is easily accessible from the A3, and within easy reach from Guildford and Portsmouth. Old Thorns offers accommodation, conference & function facilities, health club, spa, restaurants & bars, and a championship golf course.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Ensuring that all kitchen areas and equipment are cleaned to the highest of standards
- To maintain kitchen hygiene and food safety
- To ensure that equipment is stored correctly, allocated to correct areas and that any breakages are reported
- To assist the kitchen and food service staff in the fetching and carrying of food and equipment
- To ensure that the correct cleaning procedures are followed

**Knowledge, skills & experience required**:

- Previous experience is desirable but not essential as training will be given
- Organised and can work well under pressure
- Works well within a team

Pay: Up to £11.50 per hour
