Summary We’re looking for a Project Officer to help support our Cyber Resilience Maturity Project on a 15 month contract. This is a new position in our IT Assurance team, playing a key role in enhancing our cyber resilience to enable the National Trustto deliver on its strategic objectives.

**Salary**: £29,640 - £31,512 dependent on experience

What it's like to work here The Trust’s IT Assurance Team is a close-knit and busy team dedicated to assuring cyber risk and IT compliance across all National Trust functions and activities.

By putting individuals at the heart of everything we do, we provide assurance to the whole business and ensure our IT remains safe and secure.

Your contractual location will be our central office Heelis in Swindon, where we meet on a regular basis as a team, however there will be an opportunity to explore and agree hybrid working arrangements which strike the right balance for you and the Trust.

What you'll be doing This is a varied role that will involve working flexibly and independently to meet changing priorities, including having the ability to know when to escalate risks or issues.

Key responsibilities will include proactive and timely management of risk assessments within the department, ensuring that dependencies and priorities are identified, and stakeholders are engaged and kept up to date. You will manage our cyber risk registerensuring risks are correctly recorded and actioned by the relevant people and you will create and maintain operating procedures and manage the review cycle for published policies, processes, and guidance.

You'll use your excellent written and verbal communication skills to enable senior managers to focus on the assurance information that is important to them and their teams by creating and presenting management information and reports for them to use.

- Relevant experience or interest in the specialist area (IT Assurance / Cyber Resilience)
- Excellent people and influencing skills, enabling relationships internally and externally to be built and maintained
- Ability to work as part of a team, sharing learning and ideas
- PC literate using MS software and other packages to intermediate level
- Experience of record keeping
- Experience of records management and information systems
- Strong written and verbal communications skills including some public presentation experience
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- The ability to work well under pressure
