Senior International Casualty Claims Adjuster

**Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Claims Adjuster/Handler to become a key member of their well established and market leading International Casualty Team. This position is for someone with proven experience adjusting lead line claims acrossinternational casualty business focusing on Canada, LATAM, Australia and Europe with some US.**:

- Perform claims adjusting in accordance with philosophy and procedures.
- Provide the lead claims handling resource in the specific class of International Casualty within agreed claims authority.
- Contribute to the claims leadership team and provide resource and input to claims from all classes.
- Ensure the Syndicate meets internal and external standards for claims handling and customer service in particular by ensuring ECF and paper file turnaround times are met.
- Manage end to end claims processes through the use of Syndicate systems.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients and brokers and third-party experts.
- Liaise with underwriters to maintain a valuable flow of information on claims issues and their impact on underwriting and policy interpretation.
- Actively manage loss adjusters and other experts to ensure that claims and expert fees are managed appropriately and in a timely manner.

**Skills, experience and knowledge**:

- Demonstrable a strong claims background within International Casualty - essential
- Experience managing lead line claims.
- Part ACII qualified or working towards ACII.
- Working knowledge of London market claims systems (ECF).
- Team player with a positive and flexible attitude to change and development alongside achieving team objectives.
- Excellent, well-structured written and verbal communication/presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively and accurately to deliver results against tight deadlines.
- Well-developed analytical and problem solving skills.
