We are seeking a meticulous and organised individual to join our team as a Stock Controller. As a Stock Controller, you will be responsible for monitoring, managing, and replenishing inventory levels to ensure smooth operations within the organisation. Your attention to detail and ability to analyse data will play a critical role in maintaining accurate stock records and preventing shortages or overstocking.

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor and maintain appropriate stock levels based on demand and sales forecasts.
- Receive, inspect, and record all incoming inventory and cross-reference it with purchase orders.
- Coordinate with supplier to ensure timely delivery and availability of materials.
- Working with the yard manager to regularly update and maintain accurate stock records, including stock quantities, locations, and movement.
- Conduct regular stock counts to identify discrepancies and implement corrective measures.
- Analyse inventory data to identify slow-moving or obsolete items and recommend action plans.
- Generate reports on stock levels, usage, and trends to assist in decision-making and set purchasing priorities.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to coordinate stock management efforts and meet customer demands.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a stock controller or similar role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and forecast stock needs.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in inventory tracking and record-keeping
- Excellent organisational and time management skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
