Hire Desk Controller – Trading Speedy Hire is the UK’s leading hire provider. The Hire Desk Controller – Trading role is based in Great Bridge and is a vital part of the depot’s front‑line sales and customer service operations. Location: Great BridgeHours: Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours per week – 08:00 to 17:00 Responsibilities Coordinate the entire hire process from taking the order through to delivery and collection. Build strong relationships with customers, stock teams, drivers and engineers to ensure minimal delay and maximum satisfaction. Work desk‑based, liaising regularly with other departments to keep the hire process running smoothly. Support the depot’s ESG Strategy by supporting the business unit to deliver on ESG commitments. Qualifications Strong organisational skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Adaptability and willingness to learn and develop. Valid driving licence. Previous experience working within the hire industry or a similar sales or operational role.
