**SCOPE OF ROLE**:

Reporting to the studio manager, we are looking for a full-time talented Makeup Artist who will combine his/her creative and technical expertise and passion to provide a desired visual result.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Produce consistent, high quality hair and make-up in our state of the art studio daily, within the desired timeframe.
- Maintain professionalism at all times.
- Ability to adapt and change quickly throughout the day to any creative hair and make-up changes
- Occasional requirement to attend lifestyle shoots on location or in studio with the creative team.
- Be highly organised and have good presentation skills.
- Work with our lead make-up artist to Source high quality materials and order them from trusted manufacturers to maintain excellence and keep the inhouse kit fresh and up to date.
- Producing high standard hair and make-up for all shoots, working at a fast pace whilst maintaining quality and keeping on brand.
- Communicate with studio and creative manager to get direction on job specification.
- To be able to manage and manipulate hair & make-up on set and correct make-up according to lighting.
- To be able to correct fake tan issues/inconsistencies.
- Acquire more knowledge on Hair and makeup by participating in training and workshops to learn latest makeup techniques or practicing/building your portfolio in your own time.
- Work with our lead make-up artist to maintain an ecommerce make-up bible for all our models to ensure there is consistency, ensuring this is communicated to freelance cover.
- Suggest skin/hair care routines to our models if they are regularly turning up with bad/irritated skin or hair Work quickly and accurately under pressure.
- Maintain awareness of health and safety issues and legislation.
- Keep your make-up brushes and make-up area clean and tidy ensuring the relevant hygiene routines and followed before and after a shoot.
Studio assistant: (1/3rd of the role)
- Occasional requirement to support in the logistics of our model and talent by booking their travel and accommodation.
- Occasional requirement to support in the sample coordination process - working with samples to get the product organized and ready for the days model shoots.
- Assist on photoshoots from model sets, in the product studio and occasionally on flat shots for onsite and social.
- Assist the stylists with their styling area, keeping the studio organized, up to date and tidy.
