As our company grows and develops, we are ever expanding our teams. We have a great opportunity for a dedicated Courier Driver to join our Environment & Safety Division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.
We’re looking for a Driver to work nights, on a flexible working pattern generally between 19:00 and 05:00 (Monday to Thursday). The working week will incorporate 39 hours over four night shifts.
The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):
- This role is based at our Bretby Business Park facility. From this location, you will be delivering samples, equipment and consumables to other SOCOTEC facilities, primarily Romford in the southeast and Cirencester in the south west before travelling back to Bretby.
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
- A full UK driving licence held for at least 1 year
- Previous driving experience, including long journeys
- Willingness to work nights
- Plan routes efficiently
- Customer service skills
- Strong focus on road safety
About Environmental
Our Environmental team is made up of many different specialists all operating in within different areas of expertise. The main areas we cover are Environmental Monitoring and Consultancy together with specialist laboratories to support our services. Our services range from on site monitoring and sample collection, ranging from local businesses to large Government contracts, to consultancy works on large contaminated land projects, complimented with onsite works for dust, noise, and local exhaust emissions. We pride ourselves in our ability to consult, monitor and test for our clients, supporting all their needs in one place, using our highly trained employees.
