MMP Consultancy are currently seeking a Head of Gas, Water and Asbestos for a housing organisation based in Kent. Permanent contract with Hybrid working - £89,430 per annum.

Title: Head of Gas, Water and Asbestos

**Salary**: Circa. £89,430 per annum

Key Duties:

- Track record of successfully managing a Compliance Team at a senior level within a comparable organisation.
- Comprehensive understanding of compliance areas and requirements on housing associations including:
oAsbestos

oWater Hygiene

oGas Safety

oDomestic Alarms

oRenewables

oHeat Networks
- Strong commercial/financial track record developed at a senior level within a Contracts Management environment.
- Experience of setting and managing large property related budgets.
- Creating and managing a planned investment programme for compliance assets based on stock data to maximise performance of the organisations assets and to meet all statutory requirements and service standards
- Possession of excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; well-developed, ambassadorial, influencing, networking, promotional and negotiating skills.
- Ability to create, implement and monitor effective management tools to maximise and improve performance, and to effectively manage risks within the compliance function
- Establish and manage robust processes and controls to manage the compliance function, including managing large amounts of data, and to audit these processes and controls to provide assurance.
- Lead by example demonstrating excellent leadership skills to create a culture adopting company values, to inspire, motivate and develop staff at all levels; building cohesive and motivated teams who are committed to the organisation’s vision and goals and willing to provide discretionary effort.

Qualifications:

- Relevant academic qualification or professional qualification in relation to health and safety, building, engineering, maintenance, or surveying services experience
