Position: Commercial Gas Engineer/ Specialist Engineer
Location: Kent, UK (travel to client sites required; company vehicle provided)
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 DOE + overtime, call-out pay, and excellent benefits
Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm (with overtime and on-call availability)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a rapidly growing HVAC specialist supporting commercial and industrial clients across the UK. You'll play a key role in the installation, servicing, and maintenance of commercial temporary boilers and air-cooled chillers, as well as pipework modifications within plant rooms. Key Responsibilities

  • Install, service, and maintain commercial temporary boilers and air-cooled chillers

  • Diagnose and resolve faults on chilled water systems, AHUs, and air-cooled chillers

  • Modify and adapt existing pipework in boiler rooms and plant environments

  • Work with natural gas, oil, and commercial mechanical systems

  • Lead and mentor junior engineers where required

  • Attend emergency call-outs outside of standard hours as needed


Skills & Experience

  • Commercial Gas Safe certification

  • Strong knowledge of commercial LTHW systems, boilers, and forced draft burners

  • Experience with commercial pipework, boiler rooms, and chilled water systems

  • Understanding of electrical services and control wiring

  • Full, clean UK driving license


Desirable:

  • F-Gas Refrigeration qualification

  • BMS (Boiler Management Systems) experience

  • OFTEC, SSSTS, or SMSTS training (or willingness to train)

  • Prior DBS clearance (successful applicants will be checked if required)
