**About Jacksons**

Jacksons is part of William Jackson Food Group, a sixth-generation family business founded by William Jackson when he opened his first shop in Hull in September 1851. Today we have a portfolio of four food businesses in distinct, yet complimentary market areas, employing over 2,000 people.

We have occupied the current site in Hull since 1907 and we now have 3 bread plants in our main bakery. We recently developed a second bakery, also at our site in Hull, which specialises in premium quality roll production. We specialise in the supply of bread and other carriers to the sandwich manufacturers, foodservice and export channels, and in 2012 we launched our consumer facing brand “Jackson’s of Yorkshire”.

**What’s involved?**

The purpose of this role is to maintain the production schedule to ensure deliveries are to meet our on time and in full (OTIF) KPI, whilst maximising both available capacity and efficiency. You will deal with any customer queries, liaising with both the Despatch and Operations Teams to ensure customer requirements are met, whilst driving continuous improvement of the ERP system.

**Key role responsibilities**
- Ensure all plant schedules are maintained (for all sites) to meet delivery deadlines.
- Chair planning/production meetings to highlight any possible risk to service.
- Collect and report departmental KPI’s.
- Communicate any service impact to customers in a timely manner, developing good customer relations.
- Liaise and support the Transport Team and customer service team as and when required.

**Job commitments**

You will be required to work 37.5 hours per week which will be worked across Sunday - Wednesday. You will be based at our Hull site although you will have responsibility for the planning schedule for all of Jacksons sites (Hull and Corby).

**About You**

A degree qualification in Supply Chain or other relevant discipline is desirable, however what’s important to us is that you have experience from a similar role within in FMCG or manufacturing environment. You will have a thorough understanding of the planning and S&OP process, you will be highly numerate and have utilised ERP/MRP software previously. We are looking for someone with strong problem solving skills with an exceptional attention to detail. You will also be an effective communication at all levels and have excellent customer service skills.
