EQ’s vision is to be the leading global share registrar, offering complementary services to its client base. **Role Summary** The Information Security Governance Analyst will work within a small team delivering a range of security Governance services. They will report to the Head of Information Security Governance; they will share the workload and activities of the InformationSecurity Governance team, consisting of the Head and up to 4 other staff. They will contribute to all the aspects of the team’s services as appropriate to demand, workload, skills and experience. **Core Duties/Responsibilities** - Policies & Standards_ - Security Awareness_ - Assist in the development of materials to support education and awareness of EQ staff in secure behaviours and practices. - Metrics & Reporting_ - Assist in the production of regular reports of the measures of the Company’s state and quality of security for management and other stakeholders, emphasising trends and highlighting exceptions from norms and root causes as appropriate **Skills, Knowledge & Experience** The Information Security Governance Analyst will have accumulated substantial relevant experience in either an industry or consulting role. Preferably, some experience is required of: - Security policy and standards development - Security risk analysis and assessment - De facto or (inter)national standards for control, such as CoBIT, ISO 2700x, NIST CSF, etc. - Information and Cyber security risk assessment methods, such as FIRM, OCTAVE, etc. - Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) tools and methods In addition the following key experience is preferred: - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Excellent presentational skills - Experience of delivering against similar accountabilities with global impact in an organisation of similar scale and complexity as EQ - Ability and motivation to work with parties inside and outside the security community through a cooperative, interactive, trustful and respectful approach - A "doer" with capacity to drive relevant activities personally - Broad general knowledge of good information security practice **EQ Benefits** Being a permanent member of the team at EQ you will be rewarded by our company benefits, these are just a few of what is on offer: - 28 days + 8 bank holidays.
