**The Client**:
We are working with an award-winning financial organisation who due to continuous growth are on the lookout for a **Security analyst/engineer** to join their team in the management and continual **development of their cyber and information security infrastructure**.

**The role**:
A Security Analyst (Security Engineer) is required to join an expanding security team to manage and enhance current security operations, whilst assisting the implementation of several new security solutions to detect threats and mitigate key risks.

You will be working closely with the Information Security Manager, other security team members and across the IT Department to ensure delivery of the organisation's IT Security Strategy. This role presents an excellent opportunity to develop your careerin IT Security, with the opportunity to gain deep experience in security engineering, build and enhance knowledge on a wide range of industry leading security technologies and be an integral part of security projects.

Reporting to the Information Security Manager, the Security Analyst (Security Engineer) will perform daily security operations tasks and assist with security hardening projects to protect the IT infrastructure, networks and data.
**The person**:
You will need to be an Experienced engineer with demonstrable detailed knowledge of security products, access control, SIEM, AV, security gateways, firewalls, load-balancers, ACLs, TCP/IP, routing and switching. A strong understanding of Security Operationsand Infrastructure design is required along with motivation to learn. Excellent written and spoken communication skills with ability to create, update and maintain network diagrams is essential for this role.
