**Shifts**: Flexible shifts between 06:00 - 15:00 / 11:00-20:00

**This is where YOU come in**

We are looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative to join the team at our London Service Centre.

Your role will be to to ensure that all Warehouse Operations are carried out in line with the customer specific SLA’s. Working in collaboration with all other Operations Colleagues to ensure all tasks are carried out in line with the business processes and procedures in a timely and efficient manner.

**The key responsibilities of the Warehouse Opearative role include**:

- A successful Warehouse Operative will ensure the smooth running of all warehouse operations that all inbound and outbound consignments/ loads are processed in line with customer specific requirements and within SLA’s
- Ensures all paperwork and systems are maintained efficiently and accurately and in line with the business requirements
- Ensure all deliveries are scanned, sorted and then loaded onto the correct vehicles and any amendments are reported.
- To ensure all consignment movements are correctly logged.
- To report any damages or missing items.
- To report any defective equipment to ensure that repairs are carried out quickly and efficiently.
- To assist in the effective implementation of any new procedure or systems.
- Provide assistance to load the courier’s vehicles and maintaining order during the loading period.
- To ensure that house-keeping of the warehouse is maintained to a high standard
- Support the storage, order processing, picking and packing of the Service Centre consumable operation when required.
- Support off site clients when required.

**The **key skills needed for the Warehouse Operative role include**:

- Previous experience in a UK Overnight & Logistics environment is desired
- Good understanding of Health and Safety at work within a warehouse environment
- Computer literacy, and able to quickly learn new software.
- Excellent numeracy skills
- Good understanding of ISO requirements
- A good understanding of operational warehouse functions
- Previous experience is desirable, but full training will be given.
