Warehouse Operative

The Warehouse Operative is responsible for various tasks within a warehouse environment, including but not limited to:
Receiving and processing incoming stock and materials

Picking and filling orders from stock

Packing and shipping orders

Keeping accurate records of inventory levels and transactions

Maintaining a clean, organized and safe warehouse environment

Operating material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks and hand trucks

Loading and unloading delivery trucks

Inspecting and monitoring stock levels and ensuring availability of items

Identifying and reporting any discrepancies or damages

Participating in regular inventory control and cycle count procedures

Collaborating with the team to meet productivity and performance goals

Supporting other team members as needed to ensure efficient and effective operations

You should also have a positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and processes.

In this role, the Warehouse Operative will have the opportunity to contribute to the success of the warehouse operation and play a key role in ensuring that orders are processed and shipped efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities of the Warehouse Operative may include performing physical tasks, such as lifting and moving heavy objects, and operating material handling equipment. The ability to work safely and follow proper procedures is critical.
