**Stock Controller**
**Purpose of the Role**
As a stock controller, you will be responsible for managing and controlling a mix of finished goods, componentry, packaging and raw materials. The role will involve following a seamless process that ultimately will keep our operation running efficiently and effectively, whilst maintaining our stock profile and keeping it up to date and fully validated.
**Responsibilities**
- Transaction all stock movements between sites and between location moves.
- Receipt in all stock to a final location that is delivered by any external vender.
- Plan and execute cycle-counts to ensure frequent and accurate reconciliation of inventory across all warehouses.
- Investigate, establish, and report on the root cause of inventory discrepancies to support the business functions.
- Carry out internal audits of inventory practices at operational level to attain continuous improvement in inventory accuracy and material control
- Use SAGE to produce ad hoc reports to support the business and allow KPIs to be monitored
- Analyse high risk transactions, reporting on root cause, to ensure corrective action/preventative measures can be implemented
- Ensure Raw Materials and bulk are stored correctly in line with COSHH.
- Report material/product non-conformance.
- Monitor and report on inventory shelf life to minimise stock write-off
- Complete stock adjustments in line with authorization policies and protocols
- Complete root cause analysis on racking and movement anomalies (empty space checks, pick bins, system transactions, operational errors) and complete trend analysis reports
**Stock Controller Skills**
- Significant experience in stock handling
- Attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Adaptable and flexible with changing circumstances
- Ability to prioritise task execution based on business needs
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Competent computer skills (Word and Excel)
**Internal Communication & Relationships**
- Develop effective working relationships across key business stakeholders
- Build relationships with manufacturing to establish effective ways of working
**Requirements**:
- Experience in a similar position
- Understanding of SAGE
- GMP
- Seeks opportunity and is proactive
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Team player who can also work autonomously
- Excellent communication skills, able to build strong working relationships
- Time management
