We’re now expanding our team and looking for reliable and proactive, **Stock Controller** to join our busy and friendly Goods In department.

**What You'll Be Doing**

As a Stock Controller, you’ll play a vital role in effectively controlling the availability of stock, investigate any stock issues and rectify these. Your responsibilities will include:

- Weekly stocktake of selective suppliers to ensure that main lines can be ordered efficiently.
- Ensure all 'bench stock' is filled to the amounts declared on the 'Factory Replenishment report.
- To oversee the 'Factory Replenishment Report' and recommend amendments to it.
- Liaise with the Purchasing Team on low stock likely to affect production
- To see trends exiting stores, as per stores sign out sheet and amend bench stock accordingly
- Investigate any large stock discrepancies' to find out root cause and find corrective actions.
- Lead stock organising and checking

**What We’re Looking For**

We’re after an individual who is:

- **Comfortable with manual handling**:

- Experienced in **stock control / handling**:

- Detail-focused and able to spot errors in stock
- Able to **work well in a team** but also take initiative independently
- Ability to prioritise tasks

**Working Hours**

**Monday to Thursday**: 07:00 - 16:00 + **Friday**: 07:00 - 13:30 (40 hours per week)
(_Flexibility required during peak periods - paid overtime available_)
