**Client Details**
An established FMCG business with a global presence who have a number of site across the UK, including their established Peterborough site. The team has a strong wealth of knowledge and excellent work environment which will allow the successful applicantfor the Financial Accountant to develop their career.
**Description**
The Financial Accountant will be responsible for:
- Assist in the management of the internal and external audit process.
- Support in the preparation of statutory accounts, with full reconciliation from US GAAP to UK GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of tax computations across the UK business
- Assisting senior leadership with US reporting as needed
- Providing support and taking a leadership role in projects across the business
- Review of VAT returns and other related returns prior to submission.
**Profile**
- Excellent interpersonal skills, confident in liaising with all stakeholders
- Strong Excel knowledge, confident of handling large data sets
- Previous VAT experience would be advantageous
- Previous experience within a FMCG environment would be desirable but not essential
