**IFF Research **have a fantastic opportunity for a Research Assistant to join our Research team for at least 6 months, the role may be made permanent but this is not guaranteed.

IFF is an award winning, full service social and market research agency, which sits at the summit of UK Public Policy and Social Research, conducting many of the largest and highest profile studies in the sector.

You'll provide administrative support to the Research team, supporting them to deliver projects on time, to specification and to budget. You'll take on a number of tasks that include:

- Formatting of questionnaires to ensure they are client and interviewer ‘ready’
- Ensure programmed questionnaire scripts are accurate.
- Produce neat and accurate field updates for clients.
- Complete data entry tasks with precision and care.
- Qualitative analysis, including inputting of scripts into analysis frameworks.
- Contribute to the production of accurate outputs that have been thoroughly checked and of the quality required internally and by our clients including: verbatim checking, figure checking, basic proofing, formatting to IFF standards / brand.
- Assisting in the production of templated reports and presentation
- Provide ad hoc administrative support to the Research team
- Provide ad hoc marketing and administrative support to sector teams.

**About you**:
We are looking for a confident person with self-awareness and excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English. You'll be responsible, organized and flexible - able to juggle tasks concurrently, deliver under pressure and react positively to change.

You'll ideally have had some exposure to research techniques and practices, through study or work and will have good knowledge of MS Word and Excel. You must be a good communicator, be able to work autonomously and be a self-learner.
