Kitchen Porter

**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by the chefs, ensuring ingredients are ready for cooking.
- Help to keep kitchen equipment and utensils in good working order through regular cleaning and maintenance.
- Support the cooking staff during busy service periods by providing assistance where needed.
- Ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to within the kitchen environment.
- Dispose of waste appropriately and assist with recycling efforts to maintain an eco-friendly workspace.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during service times.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a hospitality or culinary role is advantageous but not essential.
- A strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and take direction from senior kitchen staff.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
- A passion for food preparation and an interest in developing culinary skills within a professional kitchen setting.

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week
