Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Laborer to join our team. As a Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to construction, maintenance, and general labor. This is a hands-on role that requires proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and knowledge of various trades such as masonry, roofing, painting, welding, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and fabrication.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with construction projects by performing tasks such as digging trenches, mixing concrete, and operating power tools.
- Perform general maintenance tasks including repairing structures, painting surfaces, and maintaining equipment.
- Assist skilled tradespeople in their daily tasks.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Operate machinery and equipment as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in construction or general labor preferred.
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools.
- Knowledge of various trades such as masonry, roofing, painting, welding, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and fabrication.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings is a plus.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Note: This is a paid position. Internship positions must also be compensated according to labor laws.

**Job Types**: Permanent, Temporary contract
Contract length: 18 months

Pay: £16.00-£18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
