**This is a great opportunity for a Skilled Buyer to join a growing business within the Engineering and Manufacturing industry. You will be responsible for Supplier Management, including negotiations, agreements, selection and analysis. Will also includeselection of new suppliers and agreeing the most cost effective solutions with the business.**
**Buyer**
- Working closely with the project teams on new product/supplier introduction.
- Supporting project/engineering teams on commercial/procurement decisions
- Managing the RFQ process for new products
- Establishing strategic alliances with key suppliers to improve overall supply chain performance.
- Managing suppliers project performance
- Supporting supplier selection
- Generating, Negotiating, and implementing purchase order and contracts with key suppliers
- Plan/Forecast cash flow to support payment terms negotiations and project deliverables

**Buyer**
**Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications**:

- Strong Supplier management experience (Includes reporting on Supplier Performance, Managing risk, new supplier introduction)
- Supplier negotiation experience (Agreements/cost)
- Engineering and manufacturing procurement experience
- Proactive problem solver
