Our warehouse is critical to the business, and our warehouse team works together to ensure that customers get their orders on time and in the best condition. We’re looking for team players to join this busy, friendly team, night shift, as a warehouse operative.

With a reach/counterbalance forklift licence and good basic English and maths skills, you’ll be responsible for the loading of the vehicle for the following days deliveries.

There are great perks working at Furlong Flooring, with 31-day holiday including bank holidays. 3 days are taken as we do not work during Christmas and New Year and many money off vouchers only reserved for Furlong Flooring staff to name a few.

Previous experience of warehouse working, and a good understanding of health and safety issues will be useful. You should also be able to show experience of working as part of a team and be able to demonstrate your enthusiasm for delivering great service to customers and a commitment to collaborative and team working.

Key attributes needed for this role are.
- Reach truck licence essential, boom experience preferred but not essential.
- Counterbalance licence
- Shunting experience preferred but not essential.
- Sunday night-Thursday night 7pm-3:30am Job and finish.
- Safely loading vehicles with carpet and wood flooring
- Use of a RDT scan gun
- Working in a team and alone
