Marlowe Fire & Security (BBC Fire), an integral business within the wider Marlowe Fire and Security Group, are seeking to appoint an experienced Minor Works Technical Support Operative who is familiar with Defect Report Sheets (DRS).

This will be an office based support role delivering the following functions within the Minor Works Team

**Defect Report Sheet [DRS] Activity**
- Assist in the processing of DRS's received from the field, in both general and technical aspects, from receipt to order.
- Process the DRS on our internal reporting system (CASH) to use the latest cost prices and information available and to ensure that the quotation is sent to the Client on a timely basis.
- Contact the Engineers where necessary to clarify requirements and to review whether there are other options available in the best interest of the Client.
- Collate information on a monthly basis to formulate the Monthly DRS Report.
- Liaise directly with customers or with the Key Account team, to progress outstanding remedial quotations.

**Internal Systems**
- To be fully conversant with CASH and the Sales enquires section, to create Minor Works quotations and to keep the information up to date with won and lost proposals
- Process Minor Works Orders onto the CASH system on a timely basis.

**Technical Sales Support**
- As and when required, provide assistance with technical issues associated with enquiries to the DRS team. You will be required to build relationships with key suppliers and enhance their skills with product training when it is available.
