**Job Type**: Part Time, 25 hours per week, Term Time only

**Location**: Wymondham

**Salary**:£9,974 - £10,154 per annum, including an allowance for holiday pay (£18,887 per annum FTE)

**The Role**

The Technical Laboratory Cleaner is responsible to the Head of Science though the Senior Science Technician and will work with other technicians as part of the departmental team.

The professional competencies expected of a Technical Laboratory Cleaner are:

- Have a genuine and keen interest in Science;
- Possess a high degree of organisational ability;
- Resourcefulness and the ability to act on initiative;
- Excellent communication skills;
- To be aware of COSHH regulations.

The qualifications and previous experience required for an Technical Laboratory Cleaner are:

- GCSE in Maths and English or equivalent;
- Be familiar with scientific equipment;
- Computer literate - able to use Word and Excel.
- Experience of working in a laboratory would be a benefit although full training will be given.
