Housing Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Housing Officer to work for a charity supporting people with spinal injuries.

**Position**: Housing/Tenant Support

**Location**: Stanmore

**Job type**: Permanent

**Hours**: Part-time, 20 hours (flexible working)

**Salary** £20 - £21,500 per annum pro rata

**The Role**

Every four hours, someone is paralysed by a spinal cord injury. The organisation is a national charity providing practical help to all who are affected and the Housing Advice service is at the heart of the support provided.

You will be in regular contact with tenants, helping set goals and monitoring their progress towards them, so excellent communication skills are vital. You will also need to ensure that third parties deliver the support that’s been promised, so tenacityand diplomacy skills are important. This is a busy team, with conflicting deadlines and daily additions to the task list, so you’ll need to be well organised and willing to work as part of the team to get things done.

**About You**

We are looking for someone with experience in a support role, either in person or remotely. You will have excellent communications, IT and admin skills with a desire to learn.
