**Job Description Summary**: The Cell Leader would be responsible for leading and directing teams in a wide range of technical areas to achieve business objectives and metrics. Coaching, mentoring and developing the team would be key to this role, and would be a great opportunity to make a positive impact on the business.

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Coach and develop team members to achieve their full potential.
- Direct the activities of assigned personnel to achieve desired levels of efficiency and production.
- Develop and maintain a positive work climate.
- Perform administrative duties in a timely manner, including time and attendance, absence reviews and missing time corrections etc.
- Inform employees of business goals and objectives. Initiate an open communication pattern to promote exchange of information and ideas with employees, peers and upper management.
- Drive EH&S objectives to meet site targets
- Champion Lean Six Sigma process and ensure that every opportunity is exploited to utilise Six Sigma tools and techniques to drive data driven improvement activity in all areas of the department.
- Maintain compliance with GE practices and legislation as required.

**Qualifications / Requirements**:

- Experience as Supervisor / People Manager in a production environment
- Effective communication skills and the ability to interact at all levels of the workforce.
- Proven ability to motivate, mentor and coach employees.
- Demonstrate good judgement, interpersonal skills and initiative.

**Desirable Experience**:

- Technical knowledge of operations and practices.
- College qualification desirable but not essential
- Experience in process improvement would be advantageous.
