**Job Description Summary**: Reporting to the on-shift Gate 2 production cell leader repair shop.

The ability to use various tools and equipment to perform repairs on aircraft engine components for engine overhaul, assembly, and test. Work unsupervised while maintaining a safe working environment and producing high quality components.

**Essential Responsibilities**:

- Perform composite repair operations on aircraft engine components.
- Programming & running of composite hot-bonders & ovens
- Ability to use power tools to prepare repair surfaces.
- Perform dry cycle/wet layup repairs using dry fabrics & vacuum bagging
- Ability to work in a cleanroom environment
- Use of measuring equipment.
- Good manual dexterity.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements
- Maintain the highest standards of Quality and Environmental Health & Safety

**Desirables**:

- Experience of composite lay-ups & vacuum bagging.
- Knowledge of autoclave operations
- Previous experience within an aviation environment would be advantageous
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience of working in an aircraft maintenance/overhaul environment and be familiar with component processing
- Ability to work from technical drawings/manuals
