**Essential Functions & Responsibilities**:

- Raising picking lists, checking off orders picked and processing delivery dockets from picked sales orders.
- Organising the daily haulage schedule with freight companies.
- Ensuring that all relevant documentation is ready, on time, for handover to the haulage companies each day.
- Work effectively with other departments (customer services, warehouse).
- Ensure goods are shipped in a timely manner and that the quality and delivery meet the required standards.
- Track the status of orders to ensure timely delivery and manage delays or issues proactively.
- Prepare logistics reports.
- Provide data analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support decision-making.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Monitor logistics performance and address any compliance issues.
- General office administrative duties and any other duties that may be assigned.

**Essential Technical Competencies**:

- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Windows and the Office packages.
- Knowledge of sales processes/order process and order fulfilment.
- Self-motivated and organised individual.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively.
- Excellent organisational capacity.
- Have the ability and confidence to develop own technical product knowledge.
- Demonstrate strong administrative and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Solution-oriented mindset.
- Lateral-thinking ability.
- Collaborative attitude.
- Be friendly, helpful, with a positive attitude and be a flexible team player.
- Maths and English GCSE grade C and above.

**Desirable**
- Previous experience working in a Logistics, Supply Chain Management role.
- Previous experience of using an ERP system
- Previous experience of working with flooring products or construction products.
- Familiarity with best practices in supply chain management.
- Ability to use data in making logistics more efficient.
- Strong customer service capabilities.
- Understanding of both warehouse and transportation management.
- Capacity to multitask.
- Have full driving licence and access to own car.
