**Job Description** Job purpose**

The position requires close co-operation with all of the Account Opening team members, as well as interaction with all other operational areas across the entire business and stakeholder departments, to deliver a high quality end-client service.

There is a necessity to deliver high performing, quality services that ensures consumer outcomes are core to delivery against key performance indicators, business goals and objectives. Working collaboratively with peers to drive consistency and cultural alignment with the brand.

The role requires someone who is commercially aware & strategic in operational approach with great planning, organisational and communication skills, and an excellent communicator who can adapt to deliver first-class service to our clients. This role can be based in **Glasgow** or **Liverpool**.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Respond to queries from front office teams/client services in a timely manner
- Client on boarding/AML. Ensure new accounts are quality checked, MiFID compliant and queried with front office where necessary.
- Ensure all new accounts are set up and mapped correctly in XPLAN.
- Respond to queries from front office teams/client services in a timely manner
- Identify weakness in internal controls and recommend improvements
- Assist manager in production of MI.
- Strict adherence to internal compliance procedures and T&C requirements
- Reporting of any suspicious transactions to MLRO
- Daily monitoring and reporting of trade transactions on the platforms for MiFID requirements
- Amend change of service types for accounts in XPLAN and on the platforms when requested

**Qualifications** Key Skills and Experience**
- Onboarding and/or AML experience is preferred but not essential
- Professional and pragmatic approach to all activities
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- IT literate and a competent user of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word. Experience using PowerBI is a plus
- Ability to work within a team
- Positive, flexible attitude with a willingness to learn
- High attention to detail
- Able to prioritise and work to challenging timescales
