Our organisation is looking for motivated, energetic individuals to join our team. We are seeking individuals who are able to work or students who want to make a career change and become a Support Worker. You will be responsible for providing non-medical care, support and personal care to clients which can include lifting and moving clients, helping them to get dressed and undressed using personal care products, accompanying clients on trips out into their communities, and light housekeeping duties.
25 - 40 hours per week multiple shifts available mainly mid week, weekends and nights, competitive rates of pay incl over time etc
**Responsibilities**:
- Listen to and understand patients and their families.
- Promote, monitor and encourage patients' independence.
- Provide reassurance to patients and their carers during stressful situations.
- Communicate effectively with other members of the health care team.
- Understand and follow policies and procedures of the work setting.
- Use telephone appropriately in handling patient enquiries.
- Assist patients to access services available in the community.,.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 25 per week
**Salary**: £11.50-£14.40 per hour
