We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Kitchen Porter plays a crucial role in supporting the culinary team by ensuring that the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in the hospitality industry, particularly those interested in food preparation and culinary arts.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by chefs and cooks, ensuring high standards of hygiene and safety are maintained.
- Keep the kitchen area clean and organised, including washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils promptly after use.
- Support the culinary team by maintaining an adequate supply of clean equipment and utensils throughout service periods.
- Dispose of waste properly and ensure recycling procedures are followed.
- Assist with inventory management by helping to receive deliveries and store food items appropriately.
- Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen, including floors, surfaces, and equipment.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.

**Skills**
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is advantageous but not essential; we welcome individuals eager to learn.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques is beneficial for this role.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others within a team-oriented environment.
