**Pub Finance Assistant - Part time (3 days a week)**

At Greene King we have a fantastic opportunity for a permanent part time Finance Assistant to join us for three working days a week on a hybrid working basis. Your role will be working within our Finance Shared Services (FSS) as part of the Pub Finance team. You will be responsible for team reconciliations of revenue and banking's across our Managed pub estate circa of 1650 pubs. As well as supporting the with day to day queries in ensuring bank and revenue reconciliations are completed on time.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Reconciliation of revenue and banking's
- Reconciliation and verification of House expenditure claims
- Compliance to HM Revenue & Customs regulations on VAT
- First line of support for House Managers with systems/financial queries
- Ensuring House Manager compliance to the appropriate company policies & procedures
- Report and liaise with House Managers/Business Development Managers/ Financial Audit on weekly and monthly basis
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations are regularly reviewed, and all differences are understood and actioned
- Produce accurate and timely accounts
- Any other ad-hoc work required by the team

**You will need to**:
Ideally have previous experience from within a Finance Assistant role with some previous expense system experience however we would consider strong Administrators with perhaps a hospitality sector background which could be transferable to the role. You will need to be competent with IT and have demonstrated customer services experience.
