As a Finance Business Partner, based in either our Bury St Edmunds or Burton Upon Trent offices, you will be joining our exciting Franchise team, sitting within the wider Pub Partners Division, which is currently undergoing an exciting growth strategy. As a Finance Business Partner, you will be supporting the Senior Business Partner, Financial Director and Operations Director in driving the division in its growth plans, whilst working closely with Operations on performance of the existing estate. As well as this, you will aid in the development of reporting, budget planning and improvement of systems and functionality.

**Job Description**:
**Your role as Finance Business Partner**:

- Play a key role in processing and reviewing period end process, ensuring financial integrity.
- Production of weekly & periodic reporting, ensuring key information is communicated efficiently.
- Lead on continuous improvements around reporting, system functionality & and controls.
- Be the key point of contact for the Operations Team for queries and performance improvement.
- Assist the Senior Business Partner in key financial set plays, including Budget and Strategy Planning.

**What you’ll bring**
- Effective prioritisation of workloads, and the ability to work under pressure when there are tight deadlines.
- Good attention to detail
- A inquisitive mindset, with an eye on continuous improvement of outputs.
- Proactive attitude to see tasks through.
- Good communicator with an ability to explain/present findings in an easy to understand way

**Qualifications**:

- AAT Level 4 qualified essential.
- Working towards ACCA/CIMA/other accounting professional body preferred.
- Experience in Financial Reporting & Business Partnering.
- Advanced use of Excel. Experience with Cognos beneficial.
