**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Supervise kitchen operations, ensuring all staff adhere to food safety regulations and quality standards.
- Assist in food preparation and cooking as needed, demonstrating culinary skills and techniques.
- Manage team dynamics, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages professional development and teamwork.
- Train new employees on kitchen procedures, safety protocols, and hospitality standards.
- Monitor inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as necessary to maintain efficient operations.
- Address any customer concerns or feedback promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Conduct regular inspections of the kitchen area to ensure cleanliness and compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with upper management to implement new menus or special promotions effectively.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or culinary setting is essential.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for the culinary arts and providing outstanding customer service is highly desirable.

Pay: £12.30-£13.30 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 38 per week
