**Your role with us...**

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a flair for design and a love of print media to join the **award-winning **_**Slimming World Magazine **_**team**. We are looking for a creative and dedicated Designer to join our busy art team in bringing pages to life with creative design, inspiring imagery and strong typography.

Based at Slimming World’s head office in Derbyshire, the successful applicant will work on a varied range of projects each issue to support and encourage our readers to live healthier lives. These include developing features from initial concept to layout design, artworking pages, researching inspiring images and commissioning illustrations. They will also assist in organising and directing food and lifestyle photoshoots, liaising closely with freelance teams and agencies, as well as other Slimming World departments and group members. The job includes some day-to-day administrative tasks.

A willingness to travel to London or other photoshoot locations, including occasional overnight stays, is essential.

**About you...**

We’d love to hear from you if you are naturally warm and friendly with a sense of fun, and have:

- Minimum 2 years in a design role, with magazine design experience in the women’s lifestyle market preferred, though not essential
- Proficiency in InDesign and Photoshop
- An understanding of or experience in producing quality photoshoots
- A knowledge of pre-press and print processes
- The time management skills necessary to juggle multiple projects and prioritise workloads
- An eye for detail and high levels of accuracy
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, can-do attitude
