Ringwood Hall Hotel & Spa is a beautiful 19th century manor house wedding venue set amongst 6 acres of formal award-winning gardens, surrounded by 29 acres of parkland. With 74 well-appointed bedrooms, spa and beauty treatment facilities and excellent dining arrangements.

We are looking to hire a customer-oriented restaurant supervisor to ensure that the Coach House restaurant runs smoothly. The restaurant supervisor's responsibilities include overseeing the activities of restaurant staff on shift, managing the bookings for the shift, and maintaining good working relationships with other departments. Ultimately, a top-performing restaurant supervisor should be able to achieve exceptional customer service and ensure that customers have a pleasant restaurant experience. Shifts will mainly be 8 hours, 5 days a week on a rota system including weekends and bank holidays.

**Restaurant Supervisor Responsibilities**:

- Manage restaurant staff while on duty.
- Liaise with kitchen team regarding any menu or service changes.
- Conduct preservice briefs with the team and kitchen.
- Ensure the restaurant & bar area are ready for service.
- Checking in on dining customers to enquire about food quality and service.
- Monitoring the restaurants till system and settling outstanding bills.
- Resolving customer complaints in a professional manner.
- Train new members of staff and document training received, and training required.
- Close the shift physically and financially, ensuring the restaurant is prepped and set ready for the next shift.

**Restaurant Supervisor Requirements**:

- Proven experience working as a supervisor in the hospitality industry.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to stand for extended periods.
- Strong management skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.

**Salary**: £10.50 per hour
