**FIXED TERM CONTRACT - 6 MONTHS**

**Position Summary**

Working within the Order Fulfilment team within Ford of Britain Marketing & Sales, this role ensures optimum product supply within the UK market which has a direct impact on vehicle registrations and positive cash flow for the business. This role requires interface and working relationships with FoB Product marketing teams - Car / CV, FoE programming; MP&L/scheduling, FoB business support, FoE VOPS team/helpdesk, CTM team, Dealers - administrators and Sales teams, FoB Car/Commercial District Field Teams

**Reports to **Order Fulfilment Team Leader

**Key responsibilities**

(Non-exhaustive)
- Analyse and manage the Order Bank system to ensure Ford of Britain meets committed lead times.
- Creating batch orders in Order Bank and processing amendments in line with pre-defined specifications.
- Complete MY Changes in line with FoB Guidelines to ensure that vehicles are of a buildable specification.
- Communication with the plant regarding vehicle ordering and build schedule.
- Working with Fleet, Direct Sale and Rental teams to ensure the smooth production in line with required delivery timings.
- Manage constraints on all vehicles i.e. specific engine which cannot be built on a particular model line and liaise with dealer to resolve.
- Support Ford Sales & Marketing with the manual wholesale process on a monthly basis, processing mail merge files to communicate to the dealer network within tight deadlines.
- Provide accurate information to dealers on vehicle progress using GVDS, CPS, SEER, Vista, VMACS, DID, CDN, Dealer Portal.
- Action all dealer transfers internally and externally, including those from plant. Update the central tagging database.
- Action requests for new destination code set ups, default destinations and amendments on DID, ensuring the correct process is followed i.e. site assessments.
- Ad-hoc duties involving logistics and transport operations including but not limited to vehicle collection and delivery and dealer liaison.
- Work effectively and co-operatively with colleagues.
- Provide customer/dealer feedback as and when required.
- Communicate any operational, processes or system problems to the Ford stakeholder.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Follow all health and safety rules and regulations.
- Other duties or projects as assigned by the Order Fulfilment Team Leader or the Ford stakeholder.

**Technical Skills**
- Excel skills
- Computer Literate
- Experience in customer relations

**Education and Qualifications**

Educated to GCSE / Standard Grade or relevant experience as stated below.

**Essential/ Desirable Skills**
- Ability to perform well in potentially stressful situations.
- Polite with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Work on own initiative with mínimal supervision.
- Well-motivated and key team player.
